Applewood Alumni Spotlight: Three Grads Return as First-Year Teachers

This fall, three Applewood School District graduates walked back through the doors that shaped them, this time as first-year teachers. After earning their degrees and credentials, they chose to build their careers in the district that raised them. Between them they now lead classrooms in elementary reading, high school biology, and middle school band. Each credits a former Applewood teacher with inspiring the leap into education, and each says returning home was the easiest decision they have made. The District Alumni Network plans to feature more of these full-circle stories throughout the school year.
